Hi, Ho, Ho, Ho, from “The Daily Vonnegut!”

In Slapstick, Wilbur Swain asks his sixteen-year old granddaughter Melody and her lover Isadore to name the three most important human beings in history.   After putting their heads together: (pgs. 27-28)

They finally came up with an answer. Melody does most of the talking for them, and this is what she said in all seriousness: “You, Jesus Christ, and Santa Claus.”
